We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of surveillance systems, and experience in loss prevention. This role involves managing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets. The Security Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring and proactive security measures.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security staff to ensure effective coverage and response. Oversee surveillance operations using CCTV systems to monitor premises continuously. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches. Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to prevent loss or theft. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating appropriate actions. Train new security personnel on surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and emergency procedures. Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation related to security activities. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as needed. Monitor access control points and verify credentials of personnel entering the premises. Conduct periodic audits of security equipment and recommend upgrades or repairs when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in law enforcement, private security, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and monitoring techniques. Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage. Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response procedures, and incident management. Leadership experience supervising security teams or personnel is preferred. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying suspicious activities. Ability to respond calmly and effectively during high-pressure situations. Full Time Experienced Security Supervisor Concierge for a condominium corporation located in

Toronto (Scarlett & Eglinton).

The shifts are

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License in good standing First Aid and level C CPR certifications a definite asset Minimum 2 years experience in a security supervisor role within a Condominium Environment Proficient with computer literacy Strong written and verbal skills communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Strong attention to detail The ability to maintain and nurture relationships The ability to follow all policies, procedures and protocols Quick response time Strong telephone etiquette Flexible and adaptable to ever changing environments

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in security or law enforcement preferred
