The knowledge of a great Concierge Agent is the expectation of our guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate guests\xe2\x80\x99 needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay. Reporting to the Guest Relations Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Offer professional, consistent, friendly and engaging service
• Ensure inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
• Providing accurate information about activities and dining in the hotel and area
• Offering assistance to all guests in making reservations and arrangements for travel, dining, special request and activities
• Serve as a liaison for guests by providing information relating to all aspects of the hotel
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s emergency procedures
• Maintaining good working relations with local businesses, restaurants and other hotel departments
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
• Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
• Performing general office duties
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills
• Good computer literacy (experience using Property Manager System preferred, and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required
• Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including:
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
