Concierge - Casual at Lake Bonavista Village

The primary responsibility of this position is to liaise with residents, family members, staff and community at large with the goal of ensuring a high quality first impression of our Seniors Community. This includes answering telephone calls, directing visitor traffic, and typical administrative duties.

Responsibilities (includes but not limited to)

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to our residents, as well as providing exceptional first impressions and assistance to guests; Develop and maintain personalized resident and guest relationships. Act as a liaison between residents and other departments including culinary, and environmental services (housekeeping, building operations). Address resident and guest concerns, assuring prompt action is taken in a professional manner. Problem solve and find solutions for issues that may arise; work with the applicable departments to resolve; and track the issues to determine trends. Assist residents with personal services (e.g., booking taxis, grocery orders, restaurant reservations, research, dry cleaning services, accepting parcels, IT support, etc.). Make appointment bookings for service providers operating through United Active Living communities (massage, foot doctor, spa appointments, shuttle service, etc.) and communicate the booking to the appropriate service providers. Assist residents with dining reservations and group or special occasions dining need General operational support. Support and assist with Resident experience General administrative support as required.

HOURS OF WORK:

Weekdays and evenings to meet the resident's needs. Casual positions available.

Physical Requirements

Keyboarding and computer work. Sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs.
