OPAL-RT est \xc3\xa0 la recherche d\xe2\x80\x99un Concepteur \xc3\x89lectronique d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience qui aura un impact majeur sur les strat\xc3\xa9gies d\xe2\x80\x99innovation reli\xc3\xa9es au d\xc3\xa9veloppement mat\xc3\xa9riel. Ce joueur d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe aura un r\xc3\xb4le cl\xc3\xa9 dans la conception des produits \xc3\xa9lectroniques \xc3\xa0 faible puissance (cartes d\xe2\x80\x99entr\xc3\xa9es/sorties analogiques et num\xc3\xa9riques \xc3\xa0 haute vitesse), des interfaces de puissance (amplificateurs de quelques kW), ainsi que dans le d\xc3\xa9veloppement des prochains syst\xc3\xa8mes de la gamme de simulateurs d\xe2\x80\x99OPAL-RT qui incluent le d\xc3\xa9veloppement de cartes porteuses pour modules FPGA ou SoC, des cartes d\xe2\x80\x99entr\xc3\xa9es/sorties num\xc3\xa9riques et analogiques (~10 MS/s) et de liens de communication haute vitesse jusqu\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa0 10 Gb/s.
Principales responsabilit\xc3\xa9s :

• Contribuer \xc3\xa0 la d\xc3\xa9finition des sp\xc3\xa9cifications en collaboration avec les clients internes et externes.

• Concevoir des cartes \xc3\xa9lectroniques dans un contexte de produits r\xc3\xa9pondant aux normes de certification IEC61010, IEC 61326-1, FCC part 15, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, etc.
• Pr\xc3\xa9parer, planifier et coordonner le d\xc3\xa9veloppement de ses projets \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99interne.
• R\xc3\xa9diger et ex\xc3\xa9cuter les plans de test de qualification du produit.
• Contribuer avec l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe d\xe2\x80\x99introduction de nouveaux produits \xc3\xa0 la strat\xc3\xa9gie de mise en production et r\xc3\xa9diger la documentation n\xc3\xa9cessaire au transfert manufacturier.
• Interagir avec les autres \xc3\xa9quipes R&D pour faciliter l\xe2\x80\x99int\xc3\xa9gration des produits logiciels.
• Communiquer les informations relatives aux produits d\xc3\xa9velopp\xc3\xa9s aux autres d\xc3\xa9partements.
• Maintenir une veille technologique en se tenant au courant de l\xe2\x80\x99avancement des technologies (FPGA, SoC, Microprocesseurs, ADC, DAC, etc.).
• Travailler conjointement avec les diff\xc3\xa9rents sous-contractants et fournisseurs locaux et s\xe2\x80\x99assurer de leur support lorsque n\xc3\xa9cessaire.
• Superviser techniquement les membres plus juniors de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe.

Comp\xc3\xa9tences recherch\xc3\xa9es :

• Scolarit\xc3\xa9 : Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at en g\xc3\xa9nie \xc3\xa9lectrique/\xc3\xa9lectronique ou l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quivalent.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience : Plus de 10 ann\xc3\xa9es d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9riences pertinentes.
• Connaissances requises : Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le design \xc3\xa9lectronique digital et analogique; Comp\xc3\xa9tences en planification et gestion de projets; Connaissance de la technologie FPGA/SoC; Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le design de circuits pour communication haute-vitesse (PCIe, MGT); Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans toutes les \xc3\xa9tapes de d\xc3\xa9veloppement de produit (de la sp\xc3\xa9cification \xc3\xa0 la mise en production); Exp\xc3\xa9rience en qualification et d\xc3\xa9verminage de produits \xc3\xa9lectroniques.
• Atouts pour le poste : Exp\xc3\xa9rience avec Altium; Exp\xc3\xa9rience en conception FPGA; Connaissances en \xc3\xa9lectronique de puissance; Connaissances des enjeux CEM et s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 (UL, CE).
• Connaissances linguistiques : Fran\xc3\xa7ais obligatoire - des cours seront offerts si n\xc3\xa9cessaire pour faciliter l\'int\xc3\xa9gration. Bonnes comp\xc3\xa9tences en anglais pour la lecture d\xe2\x80\x99ouvrages sp\xc3\xa9cialis\xc3\xa9s/scientifiques non disponibles en fran\xc3\xa7ais.

Achievements and stimulating challenges :
OPAL-RT is looking for an experienced Electronic Designer who will have a major impact on innovation strategies related to hardware development. This team player will play a key role in the design of low-power electronic products (high-speed analog and digital I/O boards), power interfaces (amplifiers of a few kW), as well as in the development of the next systems in OPAL-RT\'s simulator range, which includes the development of carrier boards for FPGA or SoC modules, digital and analog I/O boards (~10 MS/s) and high-speed communication links up to 10 Gb/s.
Main responsibilities :

• Contribute to the definition of specifications in collaboration with internal and external customers.
• Design electronic boards in the context of products meeting IEC61010, IEC 61326-1, FCC part 15, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, etc. certification standards.
• Prepare, plan and coordinate the development of internal projects.
• Write and execute product qualification test plans.
• Contribute with the new product introduction team to the production launch strategy and draft the documentation required for manufacturing transfer.
• Interact with other R&D teams to facilitate integration of software products.
  Communicate information on products developed to other departments.
• Maintain a technology watch by keeping abreast of technological advances (FPGAs, SoCs, microprocessors, ADCs, DACs, etc.).
• Work in conjunction with local sub-contractors and suppliers, and ensure their support where necessary.
  Provide technical supervision to more junior team members.

Requirements :

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Required knowledge: Experience in analog and digital electronic design; Planning and project management skills; Knowledge of FPGA/SoC technology; Experience in high-speed communication circuit design (PCIe, MGT); Experience in all stages of product development (from specification to production); Experience in qualification and debugging of electronic products.
• Significant assets: Experience with Altium; Experience in FPGA design; Knowledge of power electronics; Knowledge of EMC and safety issues (UL, CE).
• Language abilities: French required - courses will be offered if necessary to facilitate integration. Good English skills required to be able to read specialized/scientific books not available in French.
• Desired skills: Technical leadership, ability to work in a team, rigor, determination and ability to manage time and priorities well, ability to communicate effectively with people of various backgrounds, organization and planning, tolerance to ambiguity, flexibility and adaptability.
