Role Specific Accountabilities

• Complete the creation of conceptual artwork that will be applied to packaging, labels, hangtags.
• Complete the creation of seasonal themes, mood boards for packaging design that supports category strategy and product development.
• Coordinate all packaging design processes with internal and external stakeholders
• Complete market research on trends and packaging design

Knowledge & Skills

Requirements

• 5+ years, experience as a packaging designer; at a brand design agency or in-house at a retailer
• Highly skilled in research, ideation, concepting, graphic design, typography, and colour theory
• Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills
• Thorough understanding of illustration and food photography trends and techniques.
• Skilled in relationship and project management, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Fine Arts or equivalent; experience working in the creative industry strongly preferred.
