Responsibilities

The ASIC/FPGA design team's mission is to design and implement the circuits required by our product specifications, both in terms of functionality and performance. As a validation specialist, you will carry out mandates, such as:


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the models and validation requirements. Participate in defining and executing test plans to achieve complete functional validation of the design. Participate in the validation and verification of ASIC / FPGA designs using industry-standard tools and methodologies. Perform C++ and SystemVerilog coding of models and test benches. Perform software tool development and support in various languages (Perl, Python, C-Shell) to automate tasks and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Proficiency in C++ and SystemVerilog coding languages. Knowledge of various programing and scripting languages (Perl, Python, C-Shell). Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges. Good communication skills and ability to work with various teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability. Extensive experience in ASIC / FPGA simulation and verification will be considered and asset. Familiarity with embedded systems, digital signal processing, or networking protocols will be considered and asset. * ASIC/FPGA validation experience is an asset (Position also open to new graduates).
