About us:

Wolvix FX Inc. is a company that develops algorithmic solutions for Quant Applications using in-house specialized software and hardware accelerator for its internal needs. Company is privately held and self funded with headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

We are currently seeking a junior ASIC/FPGA Simulation Specialist to join our development team to assist us on various mandates that include product development for in-house application and client needs.

The role is based out of Ottawa.

How you will contribute:

Development and coding of high-level models using Matlab & Python, C++ to evaluate different strategies.

ASIC/FPGA simulation models using UVM SystemVerilog.

Implementation of Hardware Accelerators using FPGA/ASICs.

Software/Hardware Lab Debug

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or Higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering or relevant STEM field.

Coding models with Matlab/Python.

FPGA and ASIC Tool Flow.

SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL

Modern Verification Methodology for ASIC and FPGA using UVM.

Simulation Tools for ASIC/FPGA: Synopsys, Siemens Questa, Aldec, Cadence, Metrics.

Experience with Derivative Trading is a plus.

Experience with any trading platform is a big plus.

Experience with FIX protocol is a big plus.

Able to adapt to quickly changing conditions.

Be resourceful is must!!!

Pay Range:

Annual salary of $85 000 to $120 000 depending on education credentials and experience.

Yearly bonus based on company trading profits.
