Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the Computerized maintenance management system and FCAP building asset database to ensure all information is accurate and current
Performs CMMS problem diagnosis, evaluation and resolution following established guidelines and standards.
Performs and reports results of technical and compliance audits on various CMMS used. Assists with the implementation of improvements and/or corrective actions.
Schedule, print and monitor work orders and preventive maintenance tasks
Works with vendors to conduct evaluations, provide support, and perform CMMS specific services (CMMS installations, upgrades, fixes and enhancements) as required.
Maintains all Facilities drawings and documentation including FCAP database
Complete all Purchasing for Facilities department
Ensures adequate minimum stock levels for Facilities stock parts and materials
Assists in the development, implementation and enforcement of CMMS processes, standards, database
Monitors and provides feedback on the CMMS effectiveness in meeting Facilities management strategies.
Functions as the interface between client and account for matters pertaining to information technology (IT) and information systems (IS) as required
Prepares CMMS user guides and procedures. Trains users on standards, procedures and operation of CMMS and related systems.
Communicates with end users and provides guidance in the definition and evaluation of maintenance problems that can be resolved through the CMMS.
Complies with all JBH policies and procedures
May be required to work overtime as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned
Works in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, reporting hazards, deficiencies and contraventions of the Act, in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Technology from an accredited College and/or an equivalent education.
Knowledge and ability to work with CMMS systems in order to manage and update database and generate reports
Knowledge and ability to work with FCAP database in order to manage and update database and generate reports
Minimum of five years of experience in a CMMS related role
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Facilities maintenance dept
Working knowledge of Autocad and ability to modify CAD drawings and update records
Certified by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) is an asset.

Excellent work and attendance record is essential
General mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with current clinical equipment and their applications.
