Rick's Custom Cabinets is a custom cabinet and millwork company catering to custom builders, designers, and architects. Our reputation for quality work has contributed to our success in the exclusive custom home market and commercial industry for over 34 years. Our business is located in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a Cabinet Programer to become a key member of our team: an experienced, motivated employee to interact with contractors, designers, and architects on high-end residential and commercial projects to program and produce cabinets ready for install. Wage will be commensurate with experience, ability and performance.

Experience and Qualifications



Strong verbal and written skills are required. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and scope sheets. Background experience in woodworking and cabinet design building is a plus Drafting and layout of cabinet projects is a plus. Proficiency with AutoCAD AND/OR expertise with Cabinetware/Cabinet Vision is desireable. An ideal candidate would have expertise and understanding of CNC programing, machining and ability to organize the work flow. Use cabinet vision to create shop drawings providing all required information for design submission. Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) and understanding of CNC machinery is an asset. Familiarity with woodworking materials, joinery techniques, and manufacturing processes Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality millwork components. Ability to manage complex projects through effective time management, execution, communication, and troubleshooting.

Examples of Duties



Create detailed CAD shop drawings for production using design drawings prepared by our sales team along with compiled site measurements Verify appliance specifications and ensure accuracy on production drawings Detect and correct any issues within the design that may be uncovered while preparing shop drawings Communicate effectively with our designers and production team on all details of the project Create bill of materials for each project Input cabinets and related project components into CNC production software. Prepare takeoffs from architectural plans for millwork and casework Confirm measurements. Program CNC machine and work closely with CNC operator, production manager, and foreman to convey job information. Must be detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills Fluent written and verbal communication skills Must be punctual. Schedule TBD.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
