Today, we\xe2\x80\x99re focused on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring we are building safe communities where we live, work and play.It\xe2\x80\x99s an exciting time to join the team at Hydro One!General Accountabilities:Taking lead in the development, enhancement and maintenance of various software systems including but not limited to SharePoint online, PowerApps. Power BI and any other Excel automation and integration with SAP.Support end users from Transmission and Stations group in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and issues resolution for new or upgraded software/applications.Coordinate with other Lines Of Business or stakeholders involved (such as Information Services Division, external consultants, etc.) during the development phase of new or upgraded software.Provide progress and updates for system development and upgrades to assist management in decision making.Develop training documentation and job aids for newly implemented software / tools and provide training to end users when necessary.Provide technical support to end users for newly implemented software / tools.Participate in issues resolution and software enhancement initiatives for continuous improvement purposes.Perform ad-hoc analysis and report generation as required.Perform other duties as required.Selection Criteria:Requires excellent knowledge of computer technology for software configuration and implementationRequires excellent user and developer knowledge of SharePoint online and PowerApps.Requires strong working knowledge of SAP (PS/IM), MS Office (Visio/Excel/Word/PowerPoint), Power BI, etc.Requires knowledge of project management and engineering principles related to project planning, tracking, and execution, making use of these principles in compilation of reports and retrieval and extraction of dataRequires excellent business writing and verbal communication skills to effectively develop and present detailed analysis, reports, training material, etc.Requires experience with working effectively in fast paced team settings.Requires the ability to work well under pressure and with tight timelines.Requires the ability to effectively facilitate cross functional teams.This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired through the completion of 4 years of University training and at least 10 years of relevant work experience (i.e. Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, etc.).
