Within the Mobile Hydraulics application market, Bosch Rexroth Canada has developed a unique product program for Snow & Ice Control vehicles i.e. sanders and snow plows. Our purpose built electronic controllers and hydraulic modules have been marketed throughout North America under the Compu-Spread product name for over 40 years.

  • This role is responsible for the sales, support and creation of business opportunities for Compu-Spread in Western Canada
  • Focus your energy and drive to selling and promoting the industry’s most advanced hydraulic and electronic spreader control systems for the North America snow and ice market
  • Maintain and directly supports an active network of dealers, as well as works directly with end users in the specification of Compu-Spread electronic and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct service calls to support dealer service personnel
  • Conduct training courses for end users and dealers
  • Conduct outgoing calls and visits in the development and expansion of territory market share
  • Provide leadership in the territory through development and implementation of regional sales plans consistent with the strategic plan for the Business Unit
  • Participate in the development of the annual regional budget, and provides monthly planning forecasts for the territory
  • Expand and develop a strong dealer network in the territory
  • Identify major end user sales potential and strategic dealer development opportunities
  • Prepares quotation and bid proposals as required
  • Ability to travel and make sales and support calls to customers


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the selling and specification of electronic and/or hydraulic systems, as well as direct experience in the development of a dealer base
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy trucks, and/or mobile hydraulic equipment
  • Good mechanical aptitude, ability to work with service personnel in trouble shooting system problems
  • Completed Fluid Power Technology (or equivalent) and Electrical/Electronic Technology (or equivalent) Diploma or Degree
  • Must complete and pass CPSA Professional Selling Training program within 8 months of start date
  • Effective consultative selling, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP Knowledge or experience an asset
  • High customer service orientation
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
