Our client is seeking 3 talented Service Technicians to join their team, working on site at oil and gas customers in Fort McMurray. This role is on a rotational basis, and involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and completing post repair walk throughs with clients.

A typical day:

Completing maintenance and service at client sites.

Commissioning new equipment and effectively diagnosing faults.
/lili
Taking responsibility over opportunities to update your own product knowledge by reading instruction books, technical bulletins, in referring to any other technical information system, and other company resources, and by actively participating in the training programs as offered by the company.

Provide excellent service to customers, ensuring to answer all their questions and inform them of equipment best practices and warranties.
/lili
Following all health & safety policies and procedures, as well as staying up to date on all required trainings.
/lili
Managing daily administrative duties such as ensuring time sheets, work orders, emails and other documentation are signed by customer when applicable and submitted timely, as well as preparing service reports and offering strategic solutions to problems.

Successful candidates will have:

3+ years of experience working on air compressors.

Successfully received certification in one of the following areas: Industrial Electrician, Millwright or Air Conditioning/Refrigeration or you have similar experience.

Possess a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
/lili
Excellent troubleshooting abilities and the ability to work primarily independently.
/lili
Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
/lili
Strong computer skills.
/lili
Well versed with a variety of tools and equipment.
