Job Description

Our client located in Toronto, is seeking a Compliance Manager for a 2-6-month contract (fully remote).Assisting the compliance team for the company\'s B2B payment services, banking as a service, card services, etc. the Compliance Manager will be responsible for detailed end-to-end review and analysis of Fintech clients\' processes to onboard clients and oversee clients in the areas of privacy, consumer protection and network compliance (e.g. the payment rails such as interac, visa, amex, mastercard). Additionally, it will be responsible for reviewing/monitoring Fintech clients\' AML compliance to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate needs to be both; very well spoken with excellent written skills and, needs to be technically proficient in the regulatory requirements and understands these payment workflows (between the issuing bank, the fintech, and the merchants operate). Must Have Requirements:

• Extensive experience within payment network compliance and consumer protection (needs demonstrated experience in monitoring/testing compliance with the requirements applicable to payments networks, with the consumer protection provisions applicable under the Bank Act or Provincial Loan & Trust Company Acts and with the FCAC in Canada).

• Candidate must be very detail oriented.
