The soon to be open Towneplace Suites by Marriott Tecumseh Windsor is looking for our next great leader!
This role will be a complex role, taking care of the entire employee lifecycle and shaping the employee experience for both properties. You'll be responsible for hiring, training, retention, and payroll for two properties at both our brand new location opening in November and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Windsor East-Lakeshore. You will be responsible for:

You're highly organized, self-motivated, customer-oriented and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment, and with internal business partners at all levels of the organization
You love to develop and analyze HR metrics to identify business opportunities working with the HR team to implement solutions
Ready to support the deployment, administration and sustainment of new and existing P&C policies and programs
Engaged as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert to coach property leadership and managers on sensitive work-related issues related but not limited to conflict resolution, performance management, return to work programs for both work related and non work related injuries/illnesses.
Support in the development, execution, and rollout of projects and programs such as performance management, engagement, etc.
Develop, participate, and communicate employee engagement initiatives and organize company social responsibility activities.
Provide administrative support, data analysis.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity through all courses of actions.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and provincial requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
CHRP/CHRL completed or in progress preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a People & Culture/HR Generalist or in a similar role within HR preferably within hospitality
Strong knowledge & experience in benefits, compliance, employment law, employee/labor relations, recruitment and learning and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
