About the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, you'll support adults living independently in the community by:

Assisting with daily living skills, employment goals, and independent living activities Supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and diverse abilities Helping develop personal relationships and community connections Implementing Individualized Service Plans, Behaviour Support Plans, and Safety Plans Providing advocacy with landlords and linking people to resources (mental health, crisis intervention, etc.) Ensuring safe, healthy living environments and stable housing
What You Bring

At least 1 year of post-secondary education or a certificate in a human services field (preferred) Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Experience supporting individuals with diverse needs, including complex supports. Comfort working independently in the community with discretion and professionalism Current First Aid, Food Safe Level 1, TB screening, physician's report, and clear criminal record check Vehicle that you can use for work. Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle for work use Computer skills for documentation and communication Commitment to MACL's Code of Ethical Conduct
Schedule

This position is

Tuesday to Saturday

, with shifts between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (one shorter day per week). Schedule changes follow BCGEU Collective Agreement requirements.
