Key Responsibilities:



Support daily life skills, recreation, and social connections Encourage health, well-being, and personal growth Create and follow person-centered support plans Connect clients to community resources and opportunities Assist with errands, meals, household tasks, and transportation Provide personal care with respect and dignity

What You Bringo Community Support Certificate (or equivalent)

At least one year of related experience, or a combination of education and training A combination of relevant education, training, and hands-on experience.

Other Musts:



Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and safe driving record Own vehicle with business use and $5M third-party liability insurance (premium reimbursement provided) Willingness and physical ability to support individuals with personal care and recreational activities, indoors and outdoors Completion of required training (provided at no cost); existing certifications are an asset: CPR-C, Mandt-R, SafeTALK, Safe Food Handling, Medication Management, CLBC Privacy, Anti-Bullying & Harassment Consent to Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (cost reimbursed upon hire) Union membership (1.85% dues deducted from pay)

HOURS of WORK:

21 hours per week

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-2:00 pm, Friday 10-3:00 pm.

REPORTS TO:

CI & SD Program Coordinator

COMPENSATION:

$25.95 - $29.76 per hour (Grid 10 as per collective agreement)
