Overview
Our Stakeholder, Community, and Indigenous Relations team (SCIR) has an exciting new opportunity for a Community Relations & Events Advisor to join their growing team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for supporting WorkSafeBC through the development and implementation of effective community relations and event strategies to support the organization in promoting workplace health and safety across B.C.
In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help develop and implement key strategic plans related to community relations, sponsorships, and WorkSafeBC-related events. As a valued member of the SCIR team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders across employer, labour, and industry. You will leverage those relationships to uncover opportunities for WorkSafeBC to engage meaningfully in the communities we serve.

Where you\xe2\x80\x99ll work
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office or at community events in the lower mainland.
