Community Operations Manager Trainee
, based in Gameti, NT.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in developing their skills in retail, hospitality, and petroleum operations, while gaining hands-on training and mentorship from experienced leaders.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Community Operations Manager, the Trainee will learn to support the day-to-day operations of the community store, motel, and petroleum/oil/lube (POL) division. Through guided training and practical experience, the Trainee will develop the skills needed to eventually take on greater responsibilities in customer service, financial accountability, staff coordination, and community engagement.
Responsibilities (Training Focus)
As a Trainee, you will work alongside the Community Operations Manager to learn how to:
Support daily operations of the store, motel, and POL services
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive community relationships
Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment, and training activities
Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organized workplace
Handle monetary transactions responsibly and accurately
Support inventory management, pricing, and ordering
Gain experience preparing reports and providing information to the finance team
Participate in community engagement activities that promote TIC operations
Skills & Qualifications

Ability to speak and/or understand the T???ch? language is a strong asset
Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
