Position Overview:

for your time, plus
commission on all advertising sales
-- combining a steady income with the opportunity to earn more as you grow our advertiser base.
This role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with the local business community, is confident using social media, and can work independently.
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, promoting our advertising solutions, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and a passion for helping businesses succeed through effective advertising strategies.
Duties: Sales;
Identify and target potential clients through research and networking to generate new business opportunities.
Conduct presentations and meetings with clients to understand their advertising needs and propose tailored solutions.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close sales effectively while ensuring client satisfaction.
Manage existing accounts by maintaining strong relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying upselling opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that effectively communicate the value of our advertising services.
Social Media Management;
Manage Valley Vibe*'s social media platforms (primarily Facebook and Instagram) Create and schedule engaging posts that align with the magazine's content and voice
Promote featured articles, advertisers, and upcoming issues
Engage with local followers and respond to messages/comments in a timely manner
Monitor basic performance metrics and provide feedback on what's working
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, advertising, marketing, or media is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
Familiarity with the local business landscape is a strong asset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Access to phone, email, and internet
