We're looking for a Community Manager to work with and guide a team of multi-residential property management professionals. Major recurring responsibilities include managing daily operations, a variety of administrative duties, expense and budget controls, people management, unit leasing, and building and property maintenance.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience Ensure open and effective communication measures for residents and site staff Liaison between site staff needs and other departments at Head Office

Management

Be responsible and accountable for the supervision and activities of all site staff, service providers, and contractors

Maintenance

Ensure maintenance repairs are completed on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction and safety (within 24 - 48 hours) Coordinate month-end duties and responsibilities, including suite pre-inspection, and scheduling of contractors and staff for turnover of suites with the assistance of a Maintenance Technician Ensure effective communication with residents is consistent with expectations of the RTA Complete incoming and outgoing suite inspections and document as required Review and evaluate major repairs to ensure they meet budgetary and operational expenses

Administration and Reporting

Perform and document monthly site and vacant suite inspections Complete any reporting consistent with requirements of the property management contract Perform and document monthly site and vacant suite inspections, routinely follow-up to ensure all deficient items identified are addresses in a timely manner Responsible for staffing needs and payroll processing Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in a supervisory role ideally within property management Completion of (or working towards) Property Management Designation Property Management/Real Estate experience an asset Must possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills Intermediate level knowledge of Yardi and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Strong understanding of Residential Tenancies Act Excellent attention to detail and passionate about constantly delivering strong customer service Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism Possess knowledge of health and safety practices Available to work flexible hours (on-call for emergencies) Bachelor's degree preferred
