Community Manager
BrainStation is currently looking for a Community Manager to join our Marketing Department. BrainStation started by growing and fostering a community and we are looking for a passionate and detail oriented team member to continue innovating the way that we connect with ambitious professionals in our Toronto market. Based in King West, Toronto and reporting to the Manager, Global Community, the Community Manager will work to captivate and engage our customers, both on campus and online.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage events both on campus and off campus along with online community initiatives with our Education Experience Team
  • Partner with the Sales Team to curate and execute lead nurturing and acquisition events on campus and online to hit growth targets
  • Execute local social media strategy with the Content & Communications Teams
  • Identify and foster strategic community partnerships
  • Assist in building a Global Alumni Network by identifying key student stories
Successful candidates will have
  • 4+ years of work experience in a marketing/community management function
  • Event management experience is a must
  • Experience in moderating panels and owning in-person event communications
  • Social media, brand and communications experience
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study
  • High growth startup experience is a plus
