Community Manager, Scoregolf

Job Description



SCOREGolf is going through a period of rapid growth. Our Marketing Team is looking for an experienced and talented Community Manager who will play a key role in engaging and growing the SCOREGolf audience. We are looking for someone who possesses a deep understanding of the existing social media landscape and emerging channels and will thrive with the task of creating unique golf content and engaging with our community across multiple platforms. The candidate must be knowledgeable of golf as well as current events across multiple sports. They should be flexible with the ability to travel when needed and work on weekends to cover golf news. Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the online voice of the organization to build brand awareness within online communities.
  • Develop and execute a social calendar that drives audience engagement with content across multiple SCOREGolf platforms.
  • Create daily content for social media channels to engage the SCOREGolf community and drive clicks.
  • Interact with the SCOREGolf community daily through TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and SCOREGolf.com to drive the highest level of interaction and brand perception.
  • Help establish brand tone of voice via dialogue with our community.
  • Moderate a SCOREGolf forum.
  • Stay up to date with the latest in golf as well as other sports.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Editorial Teams on social campaigns & programs.
  • Funnel back content feedback and ideation from the community to the Editorial Team.
  • Manage, execute, and deliver paid social campaigns.
  • Able to work weekends.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in social media/community management.
  • Current in-depth knowledge of social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok and other relevant channels).
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and emerging trends.
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands.
  • Knowledge of Social Media analytics.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop & Premiere Pro.
  • Copywriting experience (knowledge of SEO is an asset).
  • Ability to leverage social and site data to develop content quickly against social trends.
  • Multi-sport enthusiast (with in depth golf knowledge/interest).
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
