Job Description

Speech Partners is looking for an experienced Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech therapy services in the Greater Toronto Area. This role involves providing in-home and in-clinic therapy to clients, focusing on evidence-based practices, parent education, and personalized client services.

Responsibilities:?

Provide intervention to children and adolescents with various speech and language delays and disorders. Implement treatment plans/goals as developed and directed by a supervising SLP. Deliver creative therapy activities tailored to the child's interests and abilities. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of client progress and session notes. Collaborate with family members to provide guidance, strategies, and support for incorporating therapy goals into daily routines.
Requirements:?

Completion of an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant Program, a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from an international institution, or a degree in a related field. Membership with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC) is an asset. Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Experience providing therapy in-person and online. Experience with AAC. Additional qualifications and training are an asset (e.g., ABA courses). Excellent time management and organization skills. Possession of a valid Ontario driver's license, and access to a reliable vehicle. Reliable and able to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to provide in-home services. Possession of Professional Liability insurance.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
