Speech Link is a growing private practice company serving different regions across the GTA. We provide SPEECH AND LANGUAGE assessments and therapy to both children and adults. We are looking to hire an experienced person holding a Communicative Disorders Assistant certification for a contract position on a part-time or a full-time basis.
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide community services to clients in their homes/schools or daycares
- Conduct direct therapy and work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Monitor clients' progress
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Builds rapport with families and provides ongoing feedback, education, and home programming
- Maintains complete records
Job Requirements:
- CDA certification or at least 1 year of work experience as a SLTA working with the pediatric population
- Professional Liability insurance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service, organization and time management skills
- Access to a car, with a valid Ontario driver's license
