Job Summary:
At The Speech Solution Centre we offer speech and language services for Preschoolers and School Age Students.

We are looking to hire dedicated and energetic skilled individuals to fill a Fee for Service and/or Part time positions Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our team. Experience working with children and children diagnosed with ASD is preferred.

Major?Responsibilities:

Carries out the Speech-Language Pathology designated goals to individual clients or groups of clients who are being seen for speech and language therapy.

Provides education to clients and caregivers under direct supervision by the Speech-Language Pathologist.

Develops materials for use with individual clients.

Documents accurate session progress notes.

Communicates in a timely and effective manner with SLP and clients.

Utilizes research information to support evidence-based practice.

To perform other duties as assigned by the Speech-Language Pathologist

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate is required. Must be eligible member of CDAAC. Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required. Fluency in another language is considered an asset.
