About the Opportunity



We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy

Communications Specialist

with strong writing skills and a passion for leveraging AI tools to streamline content creation and data management. In this role, you will support the development of construction project profiles, maintain internal information databases, and assist in preparing pre-qualification documents, and contribute to marketing content creation.

Key Responsibilities



With the following responsibilities, the expectation is that you will deliver outcomes that improve the speed and quality of producing sales and marketing materials used to win new projects and promote the Bockstael brand.

Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction managers, and business development teams to gather and verify project data. Write and edit compelling, accurate, and professional construction project profiles. Use AI tools to augment and accelerate the production of content. Maintain and update internal project information databases with key metrics, narratives, and outcomes. Assist in preparing pre-qualification and bid submission documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements. Implement AI-driven workflows to improve efficiency in document creation and data retrieval. Ensure consistency in tone, formatting, and branding across all written materials.

Competencies



Proven experience in creative and/or technical writing and data storytelling. Curious and can draw information from people. Strong command of English with excellent grammar, structure, and clarity. Drive to continuously improve, learn and adopt new technologies. Proficiency in using AI tools for content generation and editing. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. Ability to manage and organize large volumes of project data and documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to verify the quality and accuracy of AI-generated content.
The following experience is considered an asset:

Familiarity with construction terminology, project lifecycles, and documentation standards. Experience with proposal writing or RFP/RFQ responses. Ability to analyze data to support narratives. Familiarity with SharePoint, Procore, and/or Unanet. Experience with Adobe InDesign and/or Canva.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
