Location Address: 100 Yonge Street- Hybrid model (6 days a Month in office)
Contract Duration: ASAP 1 yearProject: Designing a dynamic funds website and supporting the business by working closely with product managers, the sales team, and other stakeholders within the business. The project has not started. It has around 10-20 people but the current team is around 2-3 persons.Candidate Value Proposition:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader client relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Acts as a key strategic partner providing recommendations and strategies to build brand equity and awareness for assigned focused area.
  • Responsible for developing thoughtful strategic plans to achieve priorities, obtain support from stakeholders, successfully execute, measure and report on success. This includes product launches, growth areas and digital programs.
  • Partners with Client Digital, Digital Marketing and SGAM Content, Advertising and business partners to ensure coordination and successful execution of marketing programs
  • Supports a culture of innovation and efficiency; identifying opportunities to automate, improve or eliminate low-value initiatives and maximize ROI.
  • Champions a high-performance environment and demonstrates a commitment to client\xe2\x80\x99s values: accountability, passion, integrity and respect. Delivers results in accordance to client behavioural competencies. Creates an inclusive team culture and an environment where team members hear, share, and appreciate diverse perspectives.
  • Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the client\xe2\x80\x99srisk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  • 5 years of marketing experience in the financial services industry
  • Solid understanding of investment products and specifically mutual funds;
  • Completion of the CSC (Canadian Securities Course)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  • CFA charter holder or candidate preferred.
  • MBA an asset

  • Superior writing, research, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Strong problem solver who supports the team to navigate challenges and/or asks for help from above when needed.

  • Self-managed and results-oriented with sense of ownership is required
Education & Certificates:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing
