What You'll Be Doing:
Develop, publish, and manage communications across all business areas and platforms, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Monitor social media platforms and apply company policy directives based on observed content and engagement trends.
Support the Communications department in serving as the central coordination point for internal stakeholders, particularly in planning and facilitating event packages.
Assist in the planning and execution of the annual Friends and Family Day, including providing on-site support during the event.
Coordinate and contribute to the development of the annual Impact Report.
Create video and audio content to support communication strategies.
Coordinate and where appropriate, participate in internal and external events, including public relations activities.
Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies.
Contribute to the development of internal communication platforms
Assist in the promotion of career opportunities, job fair announcements and related updates.
Collaborate with HR to support the distribution of internal HR communication and external recruitment content across all necessary platforms.
You Might Be the Perfect Fit If You Have:
Excellent written and verbal communicator with a natural storytelling instinct that helps ideas stick and resonate with different audiences
Strong interpersonal skills in fostering relationships and working with employees and external clients at all organizational levels.
Understanding of media relations and digital media strategies.
Demonstrated high work standard related to accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to know when to escalate a matter.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with design software and content management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and solid editing and research skills.
Efficient and able to manage competing priorities.
Strong self-leadership skills and a hands-on, self-sufficient, and demonstrated positive, can-do attitude.
What You'll Need:
Completion of an undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing would be considered an asset.
Proven documented communication experience backed up with relevant reference and one to two years' experience as a communications' assistant.
Previous experience in aviation is considered an asset; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
