The Communication Specialist will execute the company's communication strategy in line with key strategic initiatives and business plans.
Online, you will champion the growth and success of Ennis Fabrics' presence and be the voice of the brand.
Responsible to generate high-quality content for: social media, email campaigns, traditional print campaigns, town halls and coordinate video production for internal and external audiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
Social Media
Develop and plan a monthly content calendar for Ennis Fabrics and Vision Fabrics social media channels including+ Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
Respond to comments and messages on all social media platforms
Develop monthly social media reports and share findings with key internal stakeholders
Develop relationships with influencers and customers for image / content leveraging purposes and cross promotion
Recommend and build business cases for improving social media performance
Developing monthly social media advertising campaigns to support corporate objectives
Ensure that internal process are updated as social media policies change
Work with the marketing team to develop tactics and strategies for the annual business plan
Frequently review competitor's social media presence and provide a monthly update to key internal stakeholders
Email Marketing
Generate high-quality written content for email campaigns
Design visually pleasing and effective emails - work with Graphic Designer where needed
A/B test emails
Help develop more email segments for more targeted content
Become an expert in using the Hubspot software
Manage the email subscriber list in Hubspot on a regular basis
Develop monthly email reports and share findings with key internal stakeholders
Help implement tactics to increase email subscribers
Monitor competitor email campaigns
Website / Video
Coordinate with Human Resources to keep the company Career page up to date
Develop monthly email performance reports and share with key internal stakeholders
Coordinate the planning and production of internal and external videos
Upload external videos to YouTube
General
Lead projects, working with cross?functional team members, including internal and external resources
Competitor and market research
Work with Marketing team on digital and print advertising
Lead external content creation including blogs, as well as editing and proofing content
Manage the Marketing email
Monitor all social media platforms and Google reviews daily, respond to messages, check the feed and engage
Work with internal Graphic Designer to have all imagery and messaging created within our brand standards
Maximize ROI from all industry associations and directories
Responsible to remain familiar and current with company product line while understanding the markets the company services
Have a full understanding of all Marketing roles within the department. Must be prepared to cross train to support team members as needed

Proven Skills, Abilities, and Attributes:
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related degree
Experience with email software, such as Hubspot
Extensive knowledge of all social media platforms - including the business profiles/pages
Experience working with external consultants
Proficiency in MS Office Products is required with an emphasis on Excel
Assets
Copywriting experience
Social media advertising experience
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Photography, videography and graphic design proficiency
Ability to read and write in French
Experience with Sage X3 ERP
Working Conditions:
Hybrid work environment between the office and at home. Expected to come into the office Wednesday and Thursday each week.
Majority of work is computer related; therefore the job is desk oriented
Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch are offered in one full working day.
