As the Communications Photographer, you will independently capture photos and videos throughout the camp week, edit content, and produce a slideshow for the final day of camp. You will work closely with the Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director to ensure all media is uploaded appropriately and reflects the camp's energy and spirit.


WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:




Edit and produce a final slideshow/video using approved software Work collaboratively with instructors and camp leadership Participate in camp activities as needed to support media capture Follow Appleby policies, including the Mutual Respect Policy Seek guidance from the Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director for content approval Photograph and film campers and camp activities throughout the day Participate in required Health & Safety and equipment-related training

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:



Have a secondary school diploma or are currently enrolled Have experience in photography or videography and enjoy capturing authentic moments Know how to use DSLR cameras Are comfortable with Adobe software (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom) Can work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Communicate clearly and work well with others Are energetic, creative, and enthusiastic

Training & Orientation (Mandatory)

- Wednesday, March 4, 2026 (Evening) - Saturday, March 14, 2026 (Full Day)

Program Hours

- Monday: 7:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m. - Tuesday-Friday: 8:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m.

Before- and After-Care

Additional shifts may be scheduled. - Before-Care: 7:15-8:15 a.m. - After-Care: 4:15-5:30 p.m.

WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS:



Criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening (18+) OR declaration for those under 18 Standard First Aid and CPR-C (valid until end of contract)
