About the Opportunity
Crown Corporations can offer the best of both the public sector and the private sector. On behalf of our client, a mid-sized Crown Corporation, we are seeking a Communications Officer. Reporting to the Manager of Communications, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a variety of corporate communications initiatives, with a focus on digital communications and event management.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support all corporate communications functions including planning, content development, layout, publishing and evaluation
- Oversee the maintenance of the organization's website and intranet
- Contribute to work on exhibits, trade show banners and associated materials
- Collaborate with external partners for outsourced communications products
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Experience with social media and media production processes and exposure to a CRM
- Fluency in English (read/write /speak)
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
This role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of $70,000 to $90,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Our client is located in the downtown core. They are currently offering a flexible, hybrid work arrangement for the selected candidate.
