Muskoka Conservancy is a nature conservation land trust and our success depends on people--volunteers and donors who give their time and resources because they are passionate about protecting Muskoka forever. The satisfaction experienced by these key contributors is closely tied to the quality of support they receive from our staff. Essential to this is our CMF Coordinator, who takes a lead role in communications, marketing, and fundraising.

Your communication, marketing, and fundraising skills are polished by working experience. You are both organized and a good organizer. You enjoy meeting people and building relationships. You know first-hand what it's like to be a volunteer. You are capable and comfortable in Muskoka's outdoors in all seasons.

Build and maintain a positive image and reputation for Muskoka Conservancy
Inform the public about our mission, programs and impact

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Content Development
Write, source images/video, and design compelling content for various platforms, including social media, emails, website, and print
Strategy & Planning
Support Engagement Chair to develop, implement, and manage an integrated communications, marketing, and fundraising strategy to achieve organizational goals
Digital Marketing
Manage and execute digital marketing programs, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and website updates
Fundraising & Donor Relations
Support a team to create materials for fundraising appeals, solicit and cultivate donor relationships, and develop stewardship programs to engage supporters
Event Coordination
Support a team to plan and coordinate events, such as fundraising galas, sponsorship events, volunteer appreciation, Board meetings, AGM, and community outreach activities
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with partners, media, and community organizations to enhance the organization's presence
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of communication, marketing and fundraising efforts to identify insights and inform future strategies
Internal Communications
Support meetings of the Board of Directors and Committees by generating meeting agendas and minutes
Kitchen Sink
Contribute to positive life in a small shop by offering to help, supporting teammates, providing customer service, handling administrative tasks, troubleshooting IT issues, and cheerfully performing other duties as assigned

Working Arrangements
Reports to Executive Director
Hours are part time, 35 hours every two weeks, typical workdays are Monday through Friday, roughly between 8:30am and 5:30pm
Occasional evening and weekend work is required
Work Location: in person is standard, with occasional remote work available
Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle is required

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
