Communications Manager
Are you a passionate communicator, able to translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives?

The communications manager plays an important role for Best Buy Canada's internal communications team in support of leaders and teams across the company.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do:Build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders cross functionally to provide counsel, communications services and to proactively source amazing stories. Work with the senior manager of communications in developing and executing communications plans and tactics for key programs and strategic initiatives. Lead with influence to inspire and motivate team members, as this role does not have direct reports. Develop compelling department-specific communication plans and events to increase connectedness, recognition and business objectives. Plan and execute communication plans around significant change and transformation initiatives, sensitive and/or confidential information. Produce engaging creative assets including video, power point decks, image libraries and infographics for department communications, national corporate events and corporate social media.

What we need:5+ years internal communications experience in a deadline driven, multi-stakeholder, fast paced environment. 5+ years business experience, collaborating with multiple stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders. Communications strategy, planning and execution experience. Ability to curate and tell compelling and effective stories about programs, people, technologies, and accomplishments to an internal audience. Expert in PowerPoint and other visual communications tools. Ability to lead virtual, hybrid and in-person events.

Annualized base pay range
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00
This role has a bonus component to it, in addition to the base salary
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
