Job Location North York Responsible for Global Enterprise (all categories) communications and/or a single market/country. Creates media/internal communications plans. Responsible for message/asset development and/or program management (i.e. P&G Ambassadors) for Global Enterprise communications and/or a single market/country. Job Qualifications Communications: A successful, proven track record in demonstrating excellent written and verbal communications skills. Work requires extensive communications both with internal and external stakeholders. Leadership: The Communications Manager must be able to create a vision and engage and energize those they work with to achieve goals using an entrepreneurial, creative attitude that will derive results and deliver big ideas. The individual will need to make quick business decisions on communications with media and internal P&G managers, sometimes during crisis. Collaboration: This role requires someone who collaborates effectively across geographic and organizational boundaries to form mutually beneficial relationships, seek best practices and share learnings. Work will require frequent contact with multi-functional resources including brand, agencies, media, legal, senior management etc. Operates with Discipline: The candidate will need to act with a sense of urgency and determination, always with the end result in mind. Puts in place a plan of action and follows through to achieve exceptional results. Must be able to prioritize effectively in order to keep on top of multiple tasks. Attention to detail is especially required for managing critical path and budgets for projects. Capacity: Individual will need to balance a multitude of very diverse projects from multiple categories and programs. In Touch: The Communications Manager actively listens to learn and understand, and appreciates, anticipates, and responds to needs of key stakeholders. The individual consistently searches for external perspectives, industry trends, new and emerging social media platforms and actively brings that knowledge back and reapplies to the business. A passion for news, social media, public relations, pop culture, and consumer packaged goods are critical elements of this role. Prior PR Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years in PR/communications experience. Experience in consumer packaged goods and/or beauty industry considered a strong asset.
