The Communications Manager is vital to the growing Brand and Communications team. This individual supports the development and execution of the Compass Digital communications plans, focusing on internal B2B audiences. You will be responsible for amplifying and elevating our brand through compelling, impact-driven storytelling across innovative communications channels and bringing value to our critical audiences.

As part of the Compass Digital Brand & Communications Team, you\'ll help drive our team\'s mission \'Cultivate Compass Digital\'s position as a recognized leader in the technology, hospitality, and food commerce space, with both internal and external audiences.

You will report to the Director of Brand and Communications, sitting under the Chief Digital and Technology Officer for Compass Group North America.

The Role

  • Manage all Compass-facing communications channels for Compass Digital and Compass Technology
  • Strategize, plan, and execute an annual communications plan, and measuring and iterating based on quarterly results
  • Maintain the Compass Digital brand presence on all Compass-facing platforms and pages.
  • Produce and plan engaging and industry-leading digital content
  • Source opportunities for Internal brand exposure, i.e., events, sponsorships, speaking engagements, digital content, etc.
  • Help strategize, plan and execute employer brand materials and initiatives externally.
  • Monitor and respond to engagement on all external digital platforms
  • Provide strategic guidance for Compass Digital\'s growing divisions\' external channels
  • Responsible for reporting and analysis of all external channels
  • Assist in building processes and procedures for communications standards, partnering closely with cross-functional teams
  • Conceptualize, write, and edit recurring internal communications, including quarterly executive-facing newsletters for each business vertical, monthly internal team-facing newsletters, event materials and copy, landing pages, and more
What you\'ll bring
  • Experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, content marketing, digital media, advertising, or other related discipline and/or about 5+ years equivalent experience
  • Technical expertise in email marketing platforms
  • Strong writing skills for different channels\xe2\x80\x94Long and short format storytelling, Email, Digital, Print, PR, and Video
  • Experience in brand management
  • Strong design eye and ability to create engaging content with the right tools
  • A portfolio of currently and previously managed channels with success metrics to back them up
  • Experience w. B2B communication
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp (or similar), social/web metrics, project management tools, and Adobe (or other general design and video systems)
