You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and the communications team to craft content that resonates with our employees and fosters a sense of community. From planning and executing the annual leadership conference, townhalls, and employee events like the annual BBQ, to developing content for our intranet and newsletters, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to connect and engage our workforce.   • Actively participate in creative idea generation to consistently elevate the work and reputation of the National Communications team.
  • Support the planning and execution of all employee engagement events and initiatives.
  • Manage event/project deliverables, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage external vendors and budgets
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with other corporate partners such as Senior Leadership Team, HR, IT, Marketing and Facilities to ensure smooth execution of our events and initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain and execute the employee communications calendar which is mapped to all employee engagement initiatives and broader enterprise initiatives.
  • Support and evaluate results of campaigns and events with the team.
  • Seek input and create content for Bridges, employee newsletters and external social media posts.
  • Create written and visual content for distribution across multiple employee communication channels, in keeping with Bayshore's voice, priorities, and visual identity.
  • Create presentations, communications plans, and associated collateral as required.
  • Keep current on industry best practices, tools and resources for continued enhancements, as applicable.
  • Ad hoc projects as they arise.
Work Location : Bayshore Healthcare, National Office, Mississauga ONHybrid At least 2 days onsite weeklyQualificationsKEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Media Relations, Journalism, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with content management systems, design softwares ( Such as Canva and Adobe), and digital communications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint Online, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Collaborative team player who builds relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward.
  • A creative designer and storyteller with articulate writing/editing expertise as it relates to a variety of marketing or communication materials, supported by a portfolio of relevant project and work assignments.
  • Ability to understand business drivers and various audience needs.
  • Solid project management skills with proven ability to collaborate with others and utilize resources across the company to achieve an objective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
  • Be meticulous with content to ensure quality, standards and deadlines are met
