Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively convey the organization's message to various stakeholders. The successful candidate will have general knowledge of and considerable experience in the realm of communication, public relations, and strategic planning.The Communications Manager will oversee all internal and external communications for our organization, ensure our messaging is consistent and engaging, develop and implement effective communication strategies that build SAW's branding and plan, manage and design content and production of all marketing materials.This is not a remote position. This position is in office.Duties:Strong verbal and written communicator.Skilled communication strategist.Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally.Ability to lead and deliver on multiple, challenging initiatives.Acute understanding of cultural and environmental community sensitivities.High energy, positive can-do attitude; organized and a time-efficient worker.Have a strong understanding and utilization of Adobe Creative Suite Software, Word Press, and social media platforms.Superior project management and time management skills and has attention to detail.Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to managementExperience:Bachelors Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications.Accreditation through CPRS or IABC is an asset.Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals aligned with SAW's strategic and communications plan.Vast experience in a public relations/communication setting is primary.Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluation in a timely and professional manner is crucial to this position.LOCATION: This position is held in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan at SAWs head office.SALARY: This is a salaried position with annual renumeration being between $60-75,000 annually ($28.85-36.06/hr) based on experience.
