The Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) is seeking a Commissions Coordinator to join a dedicated team of staff to support Mark Carney and our Liberal team's work to build a stronger Canada.


Reporting to the Director, Party Services & Compliance, the Commissions Coordinator is the National Office's liaison with each of the Party's four Commissions: (1) The Indigenous Peoples' Commission, (2) the Young Liberals of Canada, (3) the National Women's Liberal Commission and (4) the Senior Liberals' Commission; responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the Chairs and Executive of each Commission.

What you'll be doing


------------------------


Providing logistical and administrative support to the Commissions of the Party for various projects, events and activities, including the review of event proposals, assistance with vendor selection, and the coordination and distribution of materials for outreach and communications. Working with the Commissions to coordinate engagement and grassroots fundraising efforts. Drafting and reviewing communications materials such as email blasts and surveys. Maintaining the Commission websites. Maintaining contact information for Commission representatives. Coordinating logistics for phone, online and in-person meetings of the Commissions. Processing invoices and liaising with the finance department on behalf of the Commissions for their ongoing expenses. Managing special outreach projects, including Pride and YLC campus recruitment. Facilitating the policy development process for Convention 2026. Support for party events and processes. Other duties as required.

You'll need to have

Bachelor's degree Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Working knowledge of Canadian Politics Proficiency with Liberalist and Salesforce software Familiarity with WordPress platform and tools
