As a Commissioning Project Manager - Building Systems, you will oversee diverse projects, working alongside engineering experts to ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of building systems.
Your impact on a daily basis
Planning and Coordination
Coordinate commissioning activities for small- to large-scale projects.
Update and communicate project progress to key stakeholders.
Work closely with planning and scheduling teams to develop and adjust project timelines.
Prepare service proposals, technical specifications, and reports.
Supervision and Compliance
Ensure technical supervision and verification of commissioning activities.
Oversee the compliance of installations with performance standards and contract requirements.
Participate in commissioning tests and trials, identify deficiencies, and ensure thorough follow-ups.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Attend construction meetings and propose process optimization solutions.
Draft meeting minutes and maintain detailed documentation of tests and commissioning procedures.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy efficiency, or a related field.
5 to 10 years in building commissioning, engineering consulting, or energy management.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and organization.
Leadership and teamwork abilities to support and mentor colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in English with French as an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools.
BCxP, CBCP, or RCx certification would be an asset.
