policy renewals, marketing accounts to insurers, preparing submissions, and understanding coverages
to ensure accurate and competitive renewals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of
commercial policy renewals
from start to finish
Review existing policies and identify coverage gaps, changes, and renewal requirements
Prepare and complete commercial insurance applications
to obtain renewal quotes from carriers
Gather and organize underwriting information such as applications, loss runs, schedules, and supporting documents
Market renewal accounts to insurers and follow up on quotes and underwriting questions
Review quotes for accuracy, coverage, pricing, and terms
Ensure policies align with underwriting guidelines and brokerage standards
Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and follow-up tasks
Work closely with producers and principals to finalize renewals
Assist with endorsements, cancellations, and mid-term policy changes as required
Qualifications
Prior experience handling
commercial insurance policies
, preferably renewals
Strong understanding of
commercial coverages
and policy structures
Ability to complete
general applications and insurer-specific forms
accurately
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
RIBO License required (or actively working toward completion)
Experience with brokerage management systems is an asset
