The Commercial Transport Enforcement Officer (CTEO) enforces compliance with the acts, regulations and standards that govern the road transportation industry, protects highway infrastructure and protects the safety of highway users. Within the assigned area, this position monitors roadways and may operate from Vehicle Inspection Stations or from an emergency equipped vehicle. The CTEO conducts safety inspections on commercial vehicles and drivers. Inspections are mechanical and regulatory in nature. Qualifications
Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
Experience providing customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Experience interpreting and applying policy and/or procedures.
Valid BC Class 5 (minimum) Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Licence in good standing with no more than 9 points within the last five-year period with no suspensions or prohibitions.
