As a Commercial Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrols, excellent report writing and customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Commercial environment.

Hourly wage of $ 16.25 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Permanent Position (Monday to Friday 2400-0800)

Responsibilities for Commercial Security Guard

Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors Deter criminal activity Building Interior and exterior patrols with G-Track Device Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches. Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork

Qualifications for Commercial Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification an asset Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Be good with technology Strong computer skills Be able to work Overnight shifts Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful environment Removal of unauthorized individuals Ability to stand on foot and walk for long periods of time
