Our client, a leading international and national Canadian law firm is currently looking for a Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk. This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Handle commercial files from open to close;
-Prepare transaction documents including closing/security documents, and Teraview registrations;
-Perform title and off-title searches and identify any problems;
-Prepare reporting letters and closing books
-Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients, government and quasi-governmental officials;
-Order and negotiate owner and lender policies of title insurance;
-Prepare client correspondence and requisition letters; and
-Other tasks as required.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of Law Clerk experience in Real Estate;
- Law Clerk, Paralegal or Legal Assistant Diploma;
- Strong technical skills with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Teraview;
- Knowledge in Real Estate litigation and procedures; and
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
