Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk

Job Description

Busy real estate law office seeking commercial real estate law clerk. The ideal candidate would be someone who takes ownership of their roles and looks beyond the "checklist" and is willing to understand the reasoning behind tasks in order to come up with solutions independently.

This is an in-person position at our downtown Burlington office.

Must be fluent in English. Must have access to a vehicle.

Required skills:

- Expert in Teraview

- Expert in Microsoft Office

- Working knowledge of Clio

- Expert knowledge of Closer/LawyerDoneDeal/Realtiweb conveyancing platform

- Expert knowledge in reviewing and process title and mortgage requirements

- Expert commercial real estate conveyancing experience

- Expert mortgage lending experience

- Attention to detail

- Working independently

- Customer service skills to manage clients on files

Bonus Skills that would be considered an asset, but not required:

- Fluency in other languages/dialects (spoken or written) (Cantonese/Mandarin/Arabic)

- Experience in land development

Salary to commensurate with experience. References required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
