The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced insurance professional who thrives in a producer role -- someone who knows how to develop new business, especially within the farm and small commercial space. There's already someone in place targeting large accounts, so this role is about growing the mid-sized and smaller accounts that are critical to the region.
They are open-minded on compensation -- if you're a hunter with a strong track record and local connections, let's talk. This could be a great fit whether you're early in your producer journey or already have a book and want more support and flexibility.
What You'll Be Doing:
Building a book of business in farm insurance and/or small commercial by leveraging your network and prospecting skills
Assessing client needs and offering tailored coverage solutions backed by strong market access
Collaborating with an internal team that will help you quote, bind, and retain clients
Acting as a trusted advisor and maintaining long-term client relationships
Getting involved in community and industry events to raise your visibility locally
Staying organized and compliant using their in-house systems and processes
What They're Looking For:
Level 2 License in Saskatchewan
Previous experience selling commercial or farm insurance
Entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine passion for growing your own book
Excellent people skills and the ability to build trust with business owners and farmers
Some knowledge of farm exposures (equipment, crops, livestock) is a definite asset
Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within Saskatchewan
