Green Works Contracting is a multi-service, seasonal landscaping and maintenance company serving the Nation's Capital. We are currently hiring

experienced Plow Truck Operators with Salter

for the

current winter season

.

Position Type

Full-time, seasonal (on-call) Winter season:

November to April

Optional summer landscaping work available after winter

Schedule

On-call based on weather conditions Shifts range from

8-16 hours

Must be available 24/7

, including weekends and holidays No guaranteed hours

Pay

Hourly wage based on

experience, skill, reliability, and position

Large commercial and municipal sites

Responsibilities

Snow and ice removal at commercial and/or municipal properties Operate pickup trucks equipped with

plow and salter

Apply salt and ice melt as required Ensure sites are safe, clear, and properly maintained Conduct equipment inspections and report issues Communicate with dispatch and supervisors during events Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

Minimum 2 seasons

operating a plow truck with salter Valid

Class G Driver's Licence

with clean abstract Comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions Reliable transportation to our shop Cell phone with minutes and data Physically able to lift

50 lbs

Able to work independently and as part of a team Available

24/7

, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience

Snow maintenance Loader operation 20' trailer hauling F2690 sidewalk plow AZ or DZ license (asset)
