Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Snow Plow Truck Operator

to join our winter operations team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating an

F550 dump truck equipped with a front plow and salter

. This role involves plowing and salting commercial and residential properties during winter events while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Candidates must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience with F550 snow plow operations, have strong mechanical awareness, and be dependable under demanding winter conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate an

F550 dump truck with plow and salter

to perform snow plowing and salting services across assigned commercial and residential properties. Conduct

pre- and post-operation inspections

to ensure the truck, plow, and salter are in safe working condition and compliant with all safety standards.

Load and manage salt materials

efficiently, ensuring proper calibration and spread rates during operations.

Respond promptly

to winter weather events, including overnight and weekend shifts as required.

Collaborate with the snow operations team

to ensure routes are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Maintain

detailed logs

of plowing, salting, maintenance, and site conditions after each event. Adhere to all

safety and operational protocols

, demonstrating professionalism and care in all weather and road conditions.

Experience

Proven experience operating an F550 dump truck with plow and salter

in snow removal operations is required.

Valid Full G driver's license

with a

clean driving record of at least 3 years

is mandatory.

Demonstrated experience operating large fleet vehicles

, including trucks and heavy equipment, safely and efficiently.

Strong mechanical knowledge

with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on trucks, plows, and salters.

Experience with commercial snow plowing

on large lots, roadways, or plazas, demonstrating skill in operating under demanding winter conditions.

Ability to work independently

and as part of a team during overnight, early morning, and emergency weather events.

Excellent awareness of safety protocols

and attention to detail while operating heavy equipment in low-visibility or icy conditions. We invite
