ABOUT THE ROLE
The main focus of the Commercial Organization Development Lead is to ensure that RBH commercial area teams have the right knowledge, skills, and capabilities to successfully tackle new challenges with purpose and confidence.
The Lead is responsible for working with stakeholders from different levels within the organization to develop robust learning solutions that support the upskilling of employees within the commercial area. By applying project management and adult learning principles, the Lead will assess learning needs to drive the design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning initiatives that support commercial employee growth and development, and ensure we have the capabilities we need to succeed.
An ideal Commercial Organization Development Lead is someone who takes ownership of end-to-end project management, is passionate about identifying and actioning opportunities for improvement, and sees experimentation and failures as a way to continuously learn and innovate.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Liaise with commercial area leaders to conduct needs assessments and identify skills gaps and learning opportunities within different areas of the business.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, global capability building teams, and subject matter experts to build learning solutions that will address skills gaps and support learning retention, application, and performance improvements.
Lead the development and deployment of learning solutions using project management theory to ensure that project teams: actively engage with key stakeholders, consistently develop work that meets or exceeds expectations, and proactively mitigate risks/breakdowns.
Assess, measure, and report on the effectiveness of training initiatives with local and global teams to support the sharing of key learnings and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to a team of Commercial Organization Development executives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience developing, implementing, and managing high-level project plans in support of business objectives.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to build strong relationships that drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
Growth mindset with a focus on innovation, creative problem-solving, and thinking outside the box.
Proven ability to provide leadership, order and structure in a dynamic business environment.
Excellent business acumen and can easily understand the impact of decisions on organizational issues and challenges.
Proven record of critical and strategic thinking skills
Strong organization skills with attention to detail
Project management theory knowledge & experience
People management/leadership & coaching experience is an asset
