Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigator with 5+ years of experience to handle a diverse workload. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in general litigation and construction law, excellent advocacy skills and a proven track record of success in representing clients in complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities

Manage a workload of commercial construction litigation matters from inception to resolution Conduct legal research, analysis and drafting of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on various construction law issues, including contract disputes, payment disputes, and construction defects Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to efficiently handle client matters and achieve successful outcomes Stay current with developments in construction law and litigation practices to ensure the highest level of representation for clients.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school Active member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients
