Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of legal and administrative duties in Litigation;
- Drafting pleadings, routine motions, orders and affidavits of documents etc;
- Trial preparation including undertaking legal research;
- Reviewing and summarizing transcripts of examinations;
- Perfecting appeals including compiling appeal books and compendiums; and
- Any other tasks as required.

Requirements:

- Law Clerk certificate and eligibility for membership in the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO);
- 8+ years' experience in as a Commercial Litigation Law Clerk;
-Proficiency in IPRO Eclipse (or other comparable e-discovery litigation support software);
-Familiarity with the Sedona principles;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure; and
- Excellent computer skills including PC Law, Word, Outlook.
